Server Features

Multi-user Supports multiple concurrent connections simultaneously in a multi-user environment.
Secure access SSL technology with strong (up to 256-bit) encryption protects your passwords, valuable application information and printed documents from interception or modification by third parties.
Runs as a Windows NT/2000/XP service All sessions are invisible for a logged-on user (if any).
Supports all of the console-based applications. You can execute not only line based applications and any applications with text graphics like EDIT or legacy accounting applications.
All keyboard and mouse input support Support of any combinations of keys like Fx, Alt, Ctrl. And mouse moves and clicks.
Server side clipboard Every session has an independent clipboard on the server side.
User environment All users work in their own contexts. After the start, every session on the remote host receives its own environment, including the users' security permissions and privileges, registry keys and the environment variables.
Compression All traffic is compressed in both directions.
Graceful termination On session closure the server gracefully terminates all user processes associated with the session including all child processes.
Auto disconnect from network resources On session closure the server disconnects all network connections (like network disks or printers) associated with the session.

Advanced Server Services

Client side printing Server transparently redirects any server side printing of logged on users in to the clients local printer. This feature works correctly even if there are multiple users with same user name logged on to the server.
Advanced port forwarding

Allows to forward TCP/IP connections from client to server and from server to the client over compressed sub-channels within main connection.

Client software provides several connection interfaces:

  • simple port mapping to support static connections like POP3 or SMTP
  • port mapping with support of passive mode FTP
  • HTTP proxy interface
  • dynamic SOCKSx interface to support WWW browser and active mode FTP software
Keep process alive User can disconnect from the server without closing server side application with ability to restore connection with the session later. If the session stays unconnected user defined time interval the sever gracefully terminates it.
Files transfer Users can download files from the server and upload files to the server with ability to resume.

Administrative Features

System level access control Access to main server services like shell access, client side printing or port forwarding restricted by definable and separated Windows NT/2000/XP system user groups.
IP address level access control Access can be restricted on IP address or address' group basis. Separated allowed and denied address lists.
Multi-homed systems support You can select a listening interface on a multi-homed system.
Activity monitoring System administrator is able to monitor user sessions online and view all user interactions.
Session recording Server can record and store on disk all user activity to review using management console.
Per user defined shell process You can define shell process executable separately for each user.
